back to reality:)

so we are back from VEGAS!!! we had a blast, minus my summer cold??? we did and SAW so many things while we were there! it is a such an amazing place....crazy, but amazing:) we saw the gondalla (sp?) at the venetian (romantic), the water show at the benaglio(again, romantic), waterfall show at the wynn(precious), mysteria by circo de sol(unreal and totally worth the price of the tickets:)), tigers and lion in a cage w/ a man in a casino (crazyness)skelatal/muscle musuem (unreal...will never look at a massage the same way), Mac King Comedy Show (hilarious), The View (they were filming live..janson was not impressed), the hugest fish tank inside a mall ever, a huge toy store w/ that piano from the movie BIG(too fun), downtown old vegas where it all began (so cool), the world poker tournament that is going on at the Rio (no, i was not impressed...seriously they play poker all day for months???), the forum which has the most amazing art, statues, shopping ever, Hard Rock Cafe, a lot of BRIDES, the coolest piano bars and bartenders ever...they could do some serious bartending tricks!!!! we saw us loose 85 dollars in literally an amount of 30 minutes....after that we had enough of the gambling...:)))) we ate, ate, and ate! the buffetts were crazyness!!!! anyway i could go on and on!!! it was so much fun! we are totally going as a group so we have to all start saving up the cash!!!

on my heart...

so i just had to post what is on my heart...God has been pulling at my heart to write my testimony. the other day i was vacuuming and again i could feel God telling me to stop and LISTEN...okay...so i finally did, sat down and just started typing...absolutly amazing. i sat there for 3 hours and just typed away at my testimony. the spirit totally took over. so amazing how when you actually listen the Lord takes over and responds... even more crazy is that same morning tarrah sent me Isaiah 41:13...For I am the Lord, your God, who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, Do not fear; I will help you...
Oh my gosh...exactly what I needed...to know it is my testimony but given to me for the Glory of God so in giving it, or writing it HE WILL BE HOLDING MY HAND!
also the Lord has totally made so many things so clear to me this week. a struggle that we had a few months ago was the decision on me going back to teaching or not...i mean financially it doesnt even make sense how things keep working out but we have known in our hearts that me being at home is what God has been calling us to do. anyway this week God has shown me all that he has done w/ my heart, soul and mind while i have been home w/ the girls. he has also blessed me with the most amazing friendships and given them so much strength...there is no amount of money that could replace me growing spiritually or spending time on new and lasting relationships/friendships. none of these blessings could have been poured over me, janson or our family if we had not been obediant to the Lord. Last night Janson was praying over me and it all totally hit me like a ton of bricks...crazy how perfect Gods timing is. so i just pray that we will continue to listen to Gods calling, and be obediant...the world is not our savior...Christ is!!! thank you God for that!!!!

Roly Poly

let just say "we love bugs"....right now we are obsessed w/ roly polys. kelsey even has a little bug catcher and we can not go anywhere w/out finding roly polys. yesterday kelsey had one of her little friends on our BED crawling around so i at least made her put in a pot...which i think is so cute and totally am excited b/c takes some of her girlyness away but anyway when janson got home he is not so thrilled about all of our new little pets. he could not believe that i let her put it in a pot we cook w/....just makes me laugh..i will refrain from telling him about the one in our bed!!! haha! anway loving all of the summer fun...we got the girls a little plastic pool w/ a slide and that has been the highlight of our afternoons! kailyn has been into eating toothpaste and climbing on EVERYTHING! the other night we in her room where she was suppose to be sleeping and she had taken off her diaper and was sitting on top of her dresser getting a "new" diaper...she def. keeps us on our toes! OH and....BABY RYAN NICOLE was born today at 11:52!!! am waiting for janson to get home from work and we are heading to Mansfield!!! will have to post pictures of her later!!! so excited!

Granbury

Just have to blog on my last two days! Wow, God has definitly reminded me how important family is and just how blessed I am in this last 48 hours! Janson has been off ALL weekend so we have gotten to spend it just relaxing and time actually together w/ no interruptions and it has been WONDERFUL!. We went to Granbury yesterday and Janson and I spent our time together running, and yes some walking too:), but anyway we did a total of 5 miles!!!!! it was actually not so bad but my legs are killing me this morning. Our two competitive natures kept us going! This morning I spent two hours w/ kailyn while janson and kelsey were sleeping just reading books, making french toast and holding her...so nice... it is hard to get one on one time w/ each of them so really take it when i get it!!! oh we also went to babe's last night on the square in granbury and if you havent been to babes you got to go!!! one in sanger, keller and granbury...take the drive you have never been! so much fun!!!!

where to begin....

okay so have been so busy and overwhelmed lately. feel like i have so much going on and just a crazy season in our life. from jansons end of track...yes it has been going on forever b/c made it to state which yes is a good thing for his "career and kids" but as far as me??? well 4 days by myself w/ the girls and i was crazy enough to take them to lubbock, well i say that i actually got lost and took me 5 hours to get to abilene, then driving to and back from lubbock and then to granbury...then travis GRADUATED from Tech and is officially an Engineer!!! We are all so proud of him!!! then taking care of neighbors pets, mothers day, the girls school recital and my car had issues all last week. we had to get new tires, brakes and something else? anyway i know this is going to be a better week! sorry to be so dreary:( a few pics from travis's graduation, girls recital and we all went swimming at neighbors house this afternoon!!!!

lately i sing this song over and over in my head. i just cant get my head around what this truely means...just how much Christ loved us that he died for us so that we are forgiven...crazyness
anyway i looked up Grace and got this... God's free and unmerited favor for sinful humanity, other words associated w/ grace..evidence, committed, believe, testify, guaranteed, faith, receive, sufficient, praise, strong, confidence, give, grow,saved, justified, praise, guaranteed, access, and this verse... not under law but under grace (Romans 6: 14)...love it, love it, love it! the words are just so heavy on my heart and so undeserving...anyway not sure where this is going but just had to share:)
