Christmas Recital!

Wow!!! What a night we had last night! It all started w/ Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer in the car on the way to the recital. They were so pumped up and ready to sing! I got pretty emotional when I saw Kailyn come out w/ her teacher w/ her little tamporine...they were precious. Her little class just stared at us while the music played but it was so cute. Then Kailyn saw Kelsey sitting on the floor in front of her and started waving away at her! We got it all on video. Then it was Kelseys turn and her class was toooo funny! There was a little boy in her class that would just scream the song. He was trying so hard to sing but it came out in a scream. We were dying laughing. He was precious. Janson was bummed when he came to the conclusion that, yes, Kelsey is the shortest in her class. He kept asking me if I was sure they were all the same age...this is why God did not give us a boy....haha! Anyways the program was precious. Afterwards Kailyn got away from us and ran up on the stage pulling baby Jesus from the manger. Now that was an issue, but at least while we were up there a friend got a family pic. of us...The picture of Kelsey is w/ her best little friend Ally. Janson got a little flustered too when Kailyn got into the reception and was eating away at cake/cupcakes and cookies. She was a mess, but having FUN!!! Funny how when I am w/ them all day I tend to let more things go...haha!!! Anyways we all had a great night!

camera happy

okay so now that i have a camera again i have been super camera happy. to the point where janson is getting a little embarrassed. on Sunday on the way into church i was determined to get a "family" picture. it is very rare b/c hard to get someone else to take it of all 4 when we have kelsey and kailyn running around like crazy people. so anyway on the way in i got a friend, asked her and she took it. janson was SO embarrassed. here we are taking a pic. when everyone is coming in the doors to church. then i decided to take one of us in the pew before service...i mean what else is there to do while waiting then to take a quick pic!!!! look at jansons face b/c he is like "seriously"...anyway, i had fun!!!!

loving the holidays

Let me start this blog by saying KAILYN PAIGE!!!!!!!! I could not hear Kailyn and that usually means she is into something so I go running and it was toooo late. She had thrown my cell phone into the potty, after kelsey had already gone....need I go any further. uhhhh... i was so upset! so anyway, needless to say my cell phone is not working. Kailyn is in a very curious stage. She is always hiding somewhere or climbing up or on something she is not suppose to. She got two spankings yesterday for climbing up on the intables and just standing there laughing...what is this about??? precious but challenging. sometimes I just have to walk out of the room and let Janson deal w/ it b/c I cant help but to laugh!
On a more serious side, I LOVE this time of year. I even love it more b/c Kelsey is getting the idea of giving and is so excited about it. We have explained to her that it is Jesus's birthday so she is so excited about getting him a birthday cake! I just love kids enthusiasm and all of the joy and innocence they bring to Christmas! We are making most of our gifts this year so it has been SO much fun. If we didn't make it than we are letting Kelsey pick it out and it is so much fun. Kailyn puts her input in too! If it makes noise that is what she is going for!!!!
