YEAH!!! My mom has been working on the girls bedroom...it started w/ doing the baby bedding and ended up w/ the girls getting a more "big" girl room too! we moved them out of the other room which will be the baby room and into this one! my mom has been working like CRAZY...like i have no idea where she gets all of the energy...she came up a few weeks ago and painted this room light purple and did the base boards...custom made the curtains/bedskirts and took all of the throw pillows home to start sewing...she got the cute ballerina pictures to put above their beds...the one above kelseys has brown hair and then kailyns has blonde...too cute! i love quilts and we found this one at marshalls and she cut it in half to make two twins!!! the throw pillows will be purple and some pokedot from curtains!
the start of the baby room...my moms gift to the "new" babies has always been to get their crib bedding...well, i "really" wanted it to be made!!! she tried hard to avoid it w/ finding all kinds of other sets for me to look at it but in the end i won!! this is the curtains, the rest to come!!!! It is a satin pink w/ green and pink twalle and then soft green from sydneys (my neices) bedding. my sister in law, kristin, gave me her old baby bedding and we have used all of the fabric to go w/ the babys bedding.....the baby furniture is going to be black...we have been soooo blessed...some good friends, staci and jeremy, are going to let us borrow their crib and changing table and paint it black...my dad is painting a dresser and glider that we already had black so YEAH:)))) in the beginning we were literally going to just put the baby in a pack n play in our bedroom b/c could not imagine spending any money (on baby stuff/accessories)w/ all of our pregnancy bills but we have been so blessed...THANK YOU!!!! it is so exciting to see it all coming together and the JOY of welcoming another precious baby girl home and into our family!!!
